  • This widely accepted grade from kamachi is manufactured with minimum 10 % higher strength and can save upto 15 % when compared to ordinary TMT bars. Excellent elongation, bend and re-bend properties and superior weld ability makes kamachi TMT the preferred choice of engineers and bar benders alike.

  • The strength of the bar is 500MPa, while the 'D' denotes the extra ductility of the rebar. The best qualities billets ensures extremely low levels of Sulphur and Phosphorous impurities. The lesser these elements, the greater the ductility and ability to withstand the tremendous shock load produced during earthquakes.

  • Kamachi HCRM is an Fe500 steel that has added elements to resist corrosion. Sea water, acidity in the air or salinity in the ground water causes steel to corrode making RCC structures weaker. Kamachi HCRM contains corrosion resistant elements such as Chrome(Cr), Nickel (Ni) and Copper(Cu). These elements, present uniformly from the core to the surface, fight corrosion, maintain structural strength over time and prolong the life of RCC structures.
  • The price difference of Rs. 3000/- compared to normal Fe500 is negated considering that life expectancy of the RCC structure is increased manifold. This differential cost converts to savings against foundation re-strengthening and annual maintenance costs which occurs as early as 15 years. This translates to just Rs. 200/- per year increase as against massive savings made to avoid special handling and annual maintenance costs of ordinary Fe500 structures. The presence of corrosion resistant elements is higher than presumed market leading brands and lesser price availability compared to main steel plants is a big Plus in addition to increased structure life.

The steel strength of 600 MPa offers a 20% increase in load bearing capacity leading to atleast 4% lower steel consumption and immense savings.
